Grovetown Warriors (Grovetown, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lakeside Panthers (Evans, GA), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Effingham for a 6A Region 2 challenge on Wednesday, August 24.

With the loss, Lakeside falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA) to battle the Terrors in a 6A Region 2 challenge on Saturday, August 27. The Terrors enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Glynn Academy won 10-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Camden County (Kingsland, GA)
