Indiana High School Volleyball - Whitko over Churubusco

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Whitko Wildcats (South Whitley, IN) and the visiting Churubusco Eagles (Churubusco, IN), saw Whitko's volleyball squad beat Churubusco by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Whitko upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN) to play the Vikings in a Three Rivers bout on Thursday, August 25. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Tippecanoe Valley won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Winamac (Winamac, IN)

The Eagles now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Bluffton for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 25. Churubusco will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
