The Freeport Pretzels topped the host Jefferson J-Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Pretzels now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockford East for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 test on Thursday, August 25. Freeport will confront a E-Rabs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Guilford (Rockford, IL). The E-Rabs record now stands at 0-1.

The J-Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The Knights enter the Northern Illinois NIC-10 test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Rockford Auburn was knocked off by Belvidere (Belvidere, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
