The Williamstown Demons held off the host Gallatin County Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Demons now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eminence for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Williamstown will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Louisville Saints HomeSchool (Louisville, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.

The Wildcats (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Henry County (New Castle, KY). The Wildcats enter the District 31 test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Henry County was nudged by Woodford County (Versailles, KY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
