The Blackwell Maroons softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Tonkawa Buccaneers to 1 in the Maroons non-league win on Saturday.

The Maroons now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponca City for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. Blackwell will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.

The Buccaneers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Morrison (Morrison, OK). The Wildcats enter the 2A challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Morrison by Enid (Enid, OK), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
