In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Chester Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hudson Hornets.

The Yellowjackets (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX). The Fighting Owls come into the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Anderson-Shiro went down by Huntington (Huntington, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corrigan-Camden for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Hudson will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Neches (Neches, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
