The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs edged the host Thrall Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Bulldawgs confront the Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 23. Copperas Cove will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Cubs go into the game with a 8-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Blanco (Blanco, TX).
The Tigers (10-3) will now prepare for their game against Giddings (Giddings, TX). The Buffaloes go into the non-league bout with a 8-12 record. In their last bout, Giddings nipped Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
