Indiana High School Volleyball - Elkhart edged by Homestead

The Elkhart Lions volleyball squad (Elkhart, IN), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN)

With the win, Homestead improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN) to encounter the Chargers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Carroll won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against DeKalb (Waterloo, IN)

Next, the Lions meet the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Elkhart will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Fighting 59ers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lake Central (St. John, IN).
