West Virginia High School Volleyball - Spring Valley tips South Charleston

August 23, 2025: South Charleston, WV 25309

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) and the host South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV), observed Spring Valley's volleyball team hold off South Charleston by a count of 2-1.

The Timberwolves (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

The Black Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shady Spring for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. South Charleston will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Independence (Coal City, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
