Georgia High School Softball - Atkinson County falls to Clinch County

August 24, 2023: Pearson, GA 31642

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Clinch County Panthers softball team scored a nice 21-6 win over the Atkinson County Rebels.

Coming up next, the Panthers battle the Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, August 29. Clinch County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Indians enter the outing with a 3-4 record after their 10-0 league win over Echols County (Statenville, GA).

The Rebels (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Titans enter the 1A D-II Region 2 outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Turner County was routed by Lanier County (Lakeland, GA), 12-0, in a league outing.
