Georgia High School Softball - Clinch County gets by Atkinson County

The Clinch County Panthers got by the visiting Atkinson County Rebels softball squad by a count of 12-11 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Panthers (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-II Region 2 battle with a 7-5 record.

The Rebels now sport a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Turner County for a 1A D-II Region 2 battle on Tuesday, September 26. Atkinson County will meet a Titans squad coming off a 15-2 league loss to Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Titans record now stands at 7-6.
