The West Marion Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Columbia Wildcats to 0 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.

The Trojans now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Our Lady Academy for a Class 3 Region 8 game on Thursday, August 31. West Marion will meet a Crescents team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS). The Crescents record now stands at 16-2.

The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their game against East Marion (Columbia, MS). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, East Marion was dropped by Resurrection Catholic (Pascagoula, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
