The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS) and the host Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS), saw West Marion's volleyball squad beat Columbia by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, West Marion upgrades its record to 15-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS) to play the Crescents in a Class 3 Region 8 bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Crescents go into the bout with a record of 27-3. Our Lady Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Harrison (Gulfport, MS)
The Wildcats now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to East Marion for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19.
