The River Valley Wolverines topped the visiting West Monona Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Wolverines now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westwood for a Western Valley - North test on Tuesday, August 29.
The Spartans (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Baltic (Baltic, SD). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Baltic dropped by Colman-Egan (Colman, SD), 3-2, in a non-league test.
