The River Valley Wolverines (Correctionville, IA) volleyball nudged the visiting West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA), 3-2 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, River Valley upgrades its record to 10-1 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Woodbury Central (Moville, IA) to face the Wildcats in a Western Valley - North outing on Saturday, September 23. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 4-9.
The Spartans now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Ridge View for a Western Valley - North outing on Thursday, September 21. West Monona will face a Raptors squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA). The Raptors record now stands at 15-4.
