In their next game, the Wildcats face the Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 24. Brawley will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 32-12 non-league loss to Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA).

The Spartans (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against San Ysidro (San Diego, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, San Ysidro was ripped by Mission Bay (San Diego, CA), 32-8, in a non-league challenge.
