In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting St. Cecilia Bluehawks softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Polk County Slammers.

The Bluehawks (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Seward (Seward, NE). The Bluejays come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Seward notched a victory over Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE), 6-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Slammers battle the Central City Bison (Central City, NE) in a C District match, on Tuesday, August 27. Polk County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Bison come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 23-15 non-league win over Boone Central (Albion, NE).
