The Nicholas County Grizzlies volleyball squad (Summersville, WV), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV)

With the win, James Monroe improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Princeton (Princeton, WV) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 24. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Princeton won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bluefield (Bluefield, WV)

The Grizzlies now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to James Monroe for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 24.
