West Virginia High School Volleyball - Nicholas County edged by James Monroe

The Nicholas County Grizzlies volleyball squad (Summersville, WV), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV)

With the win, James Monroe improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV) to encounter the Irish in a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 27. The Irish go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Charleston Catholic won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Riverside (Belle, WV)

The Grizzlies now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenbrier West for a Mountain State battle on Thursday, August 29.
