With the win, Locust Grove improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Pirates host Wagoner (Wagoner, OK) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Green Country battle on Saturday, August 24. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 3-3.

The Indians now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hulbert for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 27. Sequoyah will encounter a Riders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK). The Riders record now stands at 1-4.
