Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) and the host Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK), observed Sequoyah's volleyball team top Locust Grove by a count of 2-0.

The Indians (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Pryor (Pryor, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Pryor was knocked off by Summit Christian Academy (Broken Arrow, OK), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Pirates battle the Collinsville Cardinals (Collinsville, OK) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Locust Grove will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 7-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Coweta (Coweta, OK).
