Ohio High School Soccer - Genoa Area knocks off Woodmore

Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Woodmore Wildcats (Elmore, OH), 12-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Comets face the Toledo Christian Eagles (Toledo, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 27. Genoa Area will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Evergreen (Metamora, OH).

The Wildcats now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Harbor for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 27.
