Indiana High School Volleyball - Lake Central over Chesterton

Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Indians clash with the Bolingbrook Raiders (Bolingbrook, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 26. Lake Central will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Raiders come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL).

With the loss, Chesterton drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN) to meet the Cougars in a non-league game on Saturday, August 27. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 4-1. New Prairie lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against La Porte (La Porte, IN)
