North Carolina High School Volleyball - Elkin over Forbush

The Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Elkin upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Buckin' Elks host North Stokes (Danbury, NC) to face the Vikings in a Northwest 1A outing on Tuesday, August 30. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 3-2.

The Falcons now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Starmount for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 30. Forbush will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-2.
