The Tyler Knights football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Ritchie County Rebels to 6 in the Knights non-league win on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Calhoun for a Little Kanawha battle on Friday, September 8.

Coming up next, the Rebels play the Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV) in a Little Kanawha battle, on Friday, September 1. Ritchie County will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Titans go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 50-6 league win over Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV).
