Georgia High School Softball - Fayette County bounces Sandy Creek

August 25, 2025: Fayetteville, GA 30214

The Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA) softball routed the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), 18-0 in Monday's league bout.

The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA). The Knights go into the 3A Region 2 bout with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Upson-Lee was routed by Jackson (Jackson, GA), 10-1, in a non-league contest.

The Patriots now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Whitewater for a 3A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, August 26. Sandy Creek will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 11-10 league win over Spalding (Griffin, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-1.
