North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Rutherford Burns

The Burns Bulldogs prevailed the visiting East Rutherford Cavaliers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A bout, on Thursday, August 28. Burns will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Shelby (Shelby, NC).

With the loss, East Rutherford drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to confront the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 26. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 2-2.
