North Carolina High School Volleyball - Burns over East Rutherford

September 22, 2025: Bostic, NC 28018

In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Burns Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the East Rutherford Cavaliers.

The Bulldogs (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors enter the Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, East Gaston was beaten by Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers meet the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A test, on Tuesday, September 23. East Rutherford will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 2-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chase (Forest City, NC).
