In Monday's non-league match, the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Bengals battle the Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 7A match, on Tuesday, August 26. Fuquay - Varina will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Comets enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC).
