North Carolina High School Volleyball - Fuquay - Varina over Willow Spring

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Fuquay - Varina Bengals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Willow Spring Storm.

The Bengals (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Middle Creek gained a win over Wakefield (Raleigh, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Storm now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apex for a Quad City Seven 8A test on Thursday, September 4. Willow Spring will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 8-1.
