In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Bridge City Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Vidor Pirates.

The Cardinals (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Crosby (Crosby, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Crosby lost by Montgomery (Montgomery, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
