The McCook Bison triumphed over the visiting Southern Valley/Alma softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bison play the Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. McCook will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE).
