Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), 10-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Pepperell upgrades its record to 2-10 on the year. The Dragons host Bowdon (Bowdon, GA) to play the Red Devils in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 28. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 5-4. Bowdon won 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Callaway (Hogansville, GA)

The Blue Devils now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Temple for a 1A D-I Region 6 game on Thursday, September 5.
