The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) and the visiting Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA), observed Model's softball team get by Pepperell by a tally of 7-1.

The Blue Devils (5-10) will now prepare for their bout against Coosa (Rome, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 0-16 record. In their last bout, Coosa was routed by Rome (Rome, GA), 17-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Temple Tigers (Temple, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 6 bout, on Wednesday, September 25. Pepperell will attempt to advance on its 6-17 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 5-3 league loss to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA).
