Kentucky High School Volleyball - Metcalfe County tips Barren County

August 26, 2024: Edmonton, KY 42129

In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Barren County Trojans.

The Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Cumberland County was nudged by Clinton County (Albany, KY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) in a District 15 challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Barren County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY).
