Kentucky High School Volleyball - Barren County tips Metcalfe County

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY) and the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), observed Barren County's volleyball team hold off Metcalfe County by a margin of 2-1.

The Trojans now possess a 13-12 record. They play next when they travel to Glasgow for a District 15 bout on Thursday, September 26. Barren County will clash with a Scotties team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY). The Scotties record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Metcalfe County drops to 8-14 on the campaign. The Hornets host Clinton County (Albany, KY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a District 16 bout on Thursday, September 26. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 7-10. Clinton County lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY)
