West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Marion improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Tylertown (Tylertown, MS) to face the Chiefs in a Class 3A Region 8 test on Tuesday, August 27. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 0-12. Tylertown lost 3-0 in their recent league test against St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS)

The Wildcats now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sumrall for a Class 4A Region 7 test on Tuesday, August 27. Columbia will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Purvis (Purvis, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-1.
