In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ripley Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Pine Grove Panthers.
The Tigers (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Belmont (Belmont, MS). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Belmont beat Biggersville (Corinth, MS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Hickory Flat Rebels (Hickory Flat, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Pine Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Kossuth (Kossuth, MS).
