The Ripley Tigers topped the visiting Pine Grove Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Amory Panthers (Amory, MS) in a Class 4A Region 1 game, on Tuesday, October 1. Ripley will attempt to advance on its 13-15 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 17-13 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MS).

The Panthers (18-17) will now prepare for their challenge against East Union (Blue Springs, MS). The Urchins come into the non-league challenge with a 20-9 record. In their last challenge, East Union was beaten by Ingomar (New Albany, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.
