With the triumph, Chadron upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2. The Bearcats come into the match with a record of 4-2. Scottsbluff won 5-4 in their recent league match against Gering (Gering, NE)

The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE). The Swedes enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Gothenburg edged Southern Valley/Alma (Oxford, NE), 9-8, in a non-league challenge.
