In Tuesday's non-league test, the Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the host Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK), by a count of 10-1.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Morris Eagles (Morris, OK) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 29. Checotah will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.

The Pirates (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Rejoice Christian (Owasso, OK). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Rejoice Christian was routed by Haskell (Haskell, OK), 10-0, in a league outing.
