Oklahoma High School Softball - Checotah can't get by Locust Grove

The Locust Grove Pirates tipped the host Checotah Wildcats softball team by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Pirates now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenpool for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. Locust Grove will confront a Warriors team coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 7-5.

The Wildcats (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against McAlester (McAlester, OK). The Buffaloes go into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, McAlester held off Hugo (Hugo, OK), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.
