The Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) softball nipped the visiting Swainsboro Tigers (Swainsboro, GA), 2-1 in Tuesday's league test.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Camden County Wildcats (Kingsland, GA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, August 27. Toombs County will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 22-0 league win over Valdosta (Valdosta, GA).
The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Wolfpack go into the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Greenbrier was tipped by Grovetown (Grovetown, GA), 8-2, in a non-league outing.
