Next up, the Cougars face the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR) in a 2A 2 game, on Thursday, August 28. Izard County will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Timberwolves go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Corning (Corning, AR).

The Leopards (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Omaha (Omaha, AR). The Eagles come into the 2A 2 outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Omaha was topped by Cotter (Cotter, AR), 3-0, in a league outing.
