Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Asheboro advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Blue Comets host Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Eastern Randolph lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC)

With the loss, Trinity drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28.
