North Carolina High School Volleyball - Trinity overwhelmed by Asheboro

The Asheboro Blue Comets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Trinity Bulldogs to 0 in the Blue Comets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Blue Comets now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Northern Guilford for a TAAC Six 5A/6A game on Tuesday, September 9. Asheboro will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 7-2.

The Bulldogs (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Leadership Academy defeated Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC), 3-0, in a league outing.
