In Tuesday's league match, the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets battle the West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A battle, on Thursday, August 28. Lee County will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC).

The Hawks now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Lee for a Carolina Pines 6A battle on Thursday, August 28. Triton will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-0.
