Alaska High School Volleyball - Nikiski can't get by Soldotna

The Soldotna Stars edged the host Nikiski Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Stars face the Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 29. Soldotna will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Kardinals go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Seward (Seward, AK).

The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Seward (Seward, AK). The Seahawks go into the 3A Southcentral game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Seward was edged by Kenai Central (Kenai, AK), 3-0, in a league game.
