Florida High School Volleyball - Weeki Wachee tips Springstead

August 26, 2025: Spring Hill, FL 34609

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Weeki Wachee Hornets volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Springstead Eagles.

The Hornets (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Citrus (Inverness, FL). The Hurricanes come into the 4A District 8 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Citrus was nudged by Lecanto (Lecanto, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the East Central Hornets (Moss Point, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Springstead will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS).
