The Bingham Miners soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Salt Lake Academy Griffins to 0 in the Miners non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Miners now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Ridge for a bout on Thursday, August 29. Bingham will play a Sentinels squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Sentinels record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Salt Lake Academy moves to 0-4 on the year. The Griffins host Herriman (West Herriman, UT) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29.
